Apple iPad: Is iPad worth buying?

Apple famous for his difficult and not user friendly products has introduced new iPad few days ago if someone says that the difficulty level of iPhone was 5 on the scale of 10, then, I would say difficulty level of iPad is 10. Criticism on iPhone is not finished yet, and iPad is here in the market. I m not saying that iPad will definitely get fail in the market, because Apple has a brand image and no doubt in it that, they have a quite big cluster of their loyal customers  Even if iPad gets fail, though Apple will be given credit for its unique and advance gadget.

Here is trend that people remember the first and last thing somebody did or say, likewise Steve jobs is now known as the father of iPhone then Mac. And the credit for this new iPad also goes to Steve jobs. One thing that is very exciting and thinkable is that do you this iPad could actually be proven as killer of notebooks and smart phones? If this happens, Steve jobs and his team will be given the credit.

So many questions in mind to ask about iPad, though Apple replied quite of them on last Wednesday, but still so many unanswered questions. All of us know about the features of this new iPad, Let me highlight these feature:

 A 9.7-inch screen

Weighs 1.5 pounds

 Wi-Fi

 3G option,

 up to 10 hours of battery life

.

 iPad runs the iPhone OS and uses all iPhone applications

 It uses the ePub format for books.

I do hope that now you will know a lot about iPad. Still I have got so many questions in my mind. Some of them are here:

Adobe Flash Support

As I mentioned before that iPad is using the same OS as of iPhone, that means iPAD will not support any flash content unless u wanted to do. We know that numerous websites asks for flash player to run a video or to show a flash advertisement on the website. Flash sites are increasing day by day and the one obvious reason is the look and attractiveness of flash website. So missing Adobe flash in iPad, but why?

Ten hours of battery life

Not only this Apple is also claiming the around one month standby time. Are you still going to believe? We know that most of the computer makers are crazy about exaggerating about the battery timing of the laptop, notebook etc, And Apple is also included in this exaggerating group. I m not going to believe this hype, until PC world laboratory will not prove iPad battery timing. If it really proves as Apple is claiming, it would be a great advancement.

Is the iPad a threat to notebooks?

Price of the iPad at the launching stage is set to $499. You can also buy an external keyboard with it, I m not sure about the keyboard price. So one may think to replace notebook with iPad. if you are really concern about the Microsoft office, so i would like to telL you that you can buy iWork suite which is a productivity applications suite. iWork allows you to save document in office format. iWork most probably is compatible with iPad. If this is the scenario iPad is going to be threat for notebooks.

Webcam

When a thinnest Mac book Air can have webcam then why not iPad? Is it so difficult to add a webcam for a company which is famous in making thin notebooks with webcams? When Apple is featuring WI-FI and 3G in iPad then why not only a small webcam? Do they think if they introduce webcam in iPad they are going to put their own 13-inch notebook in danger..? .

Typing

When you watch the promotional videos of iPad s keyboard, you notice that your non typing fingers can not rest on the keyboard. On screen keyboard is not comfortable enough to work for a long period of time and you can not type fast on screen keyboard. Moreover we are not yet familiar with the external keyboard price. This is very important and will show how iPad sells.

The next iPhone OS

Sometimes you need to open more then one programs at one. You might need doing web surfing while your are doing your assignment project. Does iPad supports background processes? I m sure it will not. We do hope the next OS will be supporting background processes, especially in the coming version of iPad.
