13 Things That are Cursed

Updated on October 3, 2015

1. The Curse of 27

The Curse of 27 is the belief that 27 is an unlucky number due to the number of famous musicians and entertainers who have died at the age. Robert Johnson, Jim Morrison, Brian Jones, Jimi Hendrix, Ron "Pigpen" McKernan, Janis Joplin, Jonathan Brandis and Kurt Cobain are all believed to have been affected by the curse of 27.

2.  The Hope Diamond

The Hope Diamond is supposed to carry such a curse, and bring bad luck to its owner. The stories behind why it’s cursed vary, but it brings bad luck or to its owner. So if you are deciding to own a hope diamond you should think twice. This diamond was stolen or brought “as we know” from India. It is said that in India its color was white but when it was moved, it turned blue. Since then none of its owner made it out of the hope curse. They all died and diamond rests in a museum now.

3. Mummies

Mummies are also considered to be cursed. Mummies are dead bodies of Egyptian rulers and these rulers were really cruel so their bodies are under a constant wrath of God. So if you have any mummies in your home through it out. If you have one in your local museum then put some salt and pepper on it and burn it.

4. The Book of the Dead

"The Book of Dead" is the name given to the ancient Egyptian book called the "Spells of Wanahokiho." (How am I supposed to know its Egyptian name its ancient)The Book of the Dead was used to help the dead in the afterlife and comprised a collection of hymns, spells, and instructions to allow the departed to pass through tests in the afterlife. But it was not just that, it was a book that was used to put hex on living people. These spells were strong enough to kill anyone. Magic and sorcery was practiced openly in ancient Egypt and this book is the only living proof of that.  The Book of the Dead was most commonly written on a papyrus scroll and placed in the coffin or burial chamber of the deceased.

5. Black Cat

Black cats are considered to be cursed. Actually it’s more like they are the curse. If they cross you path then your in trouble, if they come after you then your in deep deep trouble, but if black cat shows up when your taking a bath then my friend you're pretty much dead. So when ever you see a black cat stalking you, call ghost busters or just feed the cats probably it’s hungry.

6. Crying Boy Painting.

The myth around this painting is as gloomy as it gets. It all began around 1985, when several mysterious fires occurred all around England. Only thing that survived this fire was painting of a little boy with a tear rolling his cheek.

There were at that time several of these paintings around and each one seemed to have the similar effect. The home would be totally destroyed but the painting of the little crying boy would not show any sign at all of going through a fire. There have been reports of the crying boy painting being found in burnt homes untouched since 1985 and as recent as 1998.

So if you have happy boy painting then get a fire alarm because it’s going to burn your house and then cry.

7. One Eye

Muslims call it the eye of Dajjal. People believe that in near future a thing called Dajjal will appear and it will bring destruction in this world. It will rage wars and many people will die. This thing will have army of its own a big mighty army but in the end it will be defeated and peace will be restored.

8. Solar eclipses

Solar eclipse is also considered to be cursed this is the time when followers and gurus of black magic do their toughest rituals and it is considered to be a very dark moment.

9. Howling dogs

Dogs have been given some exceptional skills. Dogs have great power of smell and hearing. But many people believe that Dogs have a super sight too. Dogs can see what human cannot see. Dogs can see every daemon or evil creatures out there that are hidden from humans. So if your dog is out side and it starts to howl then you should be aware that there is something evil near by. My advice would be to get in your hose and lock the doors turn on your tv and start watching cartoon network it keeps you distracted.

10.              2012

2012 is going to be the year when every thing is going to change. During this time, Earth and its residents may possibly experience a positive physical or spiritual transformation, and that 2012 may mark the beginning of a new world. But there is a cured side too and it says that 2012 date marks the end of the world or a similar disaster. There are also talks of earth colliding with a passing planet referred to as "Nibiru”. Well I believe that no one in history was able to predict any thing after 2012 because God didn’t want them to see beyond that date. God has planned a something big so lets see what happens on 2012.

11.              Circling vultures

Vultures are the birds of the dead. They feed on dead carcass and every thing about them is dead. But they are very cute looking and presented as dumb birds in many cartoons.  If there is a group of flying in circles over your house then its pretty much considered cursed.

12.              Red Sky

It is believed that red sky is sign that somewhere a very innocent person who’s very close to God has been murdered and God is very furious over what has happened and as a warning the sky becomes red.

13.  Number 13

Well every one knows that number 13 is cursed. I found out when I was in 8th grade got 13 in a test and it failed me (Test total was 50). But did you know that there was a time when sailors would give any thing for getting their ships registered at number 13 or 113 or 1113 or any number with 13 init because then that ship would carry bad luck for sea monsters.
