Ingredients

To make pancakes made from rice and sesame, you will first of all need 1.5 cups of all purpose flour, if you wish to use whole wheat pastry flour instead, that will work fine too. Next, take out about 1 tablespoon of baking powder along with 1 teaspoon of brown sugar. 2 large eggs should be next on your list along with 1/2 teaspoon of sea salt, which is fine grain, and 2.5 tablespoons of sesame seeds, which are toasted. Moving on, also keep with you zest of about a single lemon, 1/4 teaspoon ground cumin (toasted), 1/4 teaspoon of ground cayenne and 1 sheet of nori, which is carefully toasted and crunchy. Lastly, grab 2 cups or nearly 490 ml of milk, 1/4 cup of butter (not salted), 1/8 teaspoon of sesame oil (toasted) and 2 cups of brown rice, which are cooked. This completes the entire set of ingredients for your whole grain recipe.

Instructions (How to make whole grain food)

  1. Now that we have explained to you what you need to make the rice and sesame pancakes, we will move on to discuss how to make delicious whole-grain pancakes out of the described ingredients. To begin, grab a large plastic bowl and add flour to it. After you have added the flour, add the following as well: baking powder, salt to taste, sesame seeds, some lemon zest, cumin, baking powder and finally cayenne. After this has been done, take the nori and crush and crumble it in to small flecks and add them in to the bowl with your hands. Next take a stirrer or a simple spatula and stir together all the ingredients in the bowl under they are properly mixed together. Put this bowl aside for a while.
  2. Next grab another large plastic bowl and start to add the following ingredients: eggs, butter, sesame oil and finally, milk. Once these ingredients are inside the bowl, take a wisk from the kitchen and blend them together. Now you will have two bowls with two set of ingredients mixed together. In the next step, mix the ingredients of each of the bowls and wisk them together in one. Now take the rice and add them to the mixture and you will have a complete set of ingredients neatly mixed together in one bowl. But a important reminder, do not mix the rice that you just added, just let them be in the bowl. Now towards the final step, take a pan in which you are suppose to make the pancakes and heat it medium-hot. Smear it with butter or oil. After the pan is appropriately hot, pour about one-third cup of the mixture at one time in to the pan.
